In 1997 I got my first domain name, BassSick.com.  Over the years I must have had at least 51 other domains, but Ive always kept the original.  The one with the most following was GlobalBass.com, which is still in existence as of this writing, but I gave it to a fellow enthusiast who promised to keep it alive.  His promise is waning, but it's still there.

There were also a few photography sites along the way, but ParksPhotos.com is the only one remaining.  MartyStraub.com is intended to house links to most of the things that illustrate me.  How vain, right?  Actually I'm just an organizing freak, so...

You may recognize me by this avatar or a version therof on most sites of which I'm a member.  It's from a photo I took of my daughter Celeste's painting of the artist Frida Kahlo
Find me on FacebookMy Amazon Books.   My Blurb BooksMy YouTube Channel.

This is what I look like on Babu Music on YouTube.   It's from a cellphone photo my 4-year-old granddaughter Charley took when I was preparing for a trip to Iceland. For all of the audios, videos and yadda yadda about the tunes, see Babu Music here, or hit the face with your mouse.  Most of my originals are on SoundCloud & SoundCloud2, Spotify and all the streaming services.
There is also some of my music on BassSick.com on an old publishing site, Mello-Dee-O-Dough, and on others' sites around the Internet.  Here is a page listing others' song I played.

This is a picture my wife Barb took of me shooting in Frances Slocum State Park.  I've used it on my BuyStuff page at Parks Photos since she did, and it will still take you there form here.
As mentioned above, my photos appear on many websites throughout the Internet, but my main place is ParksPhotos.com.

I also like to write  --anything from shopping lists to books.  Of course, I don't have enough time to write all of the books I have in mind, but you can find some at Amazon.  The book pictured to the left is the only full-length book I've written, and it will take you directly to Naturally Composed on Amazon, both Kindle and Paperback version.

Enjoy whatever happens
