You Coulda Fooled Me
This is an original song that still doesn't reveal what happened that night.
It's done here using Band in a Box, Reaper and Cakewalk. I added a bass and vocal. Bill Davis, aka, Dr. Buddy Love, sang harmony and added a pedal steel.

You Coulda Fooled Me
She used to sit behind me everyday. Oh, yeah.
But if you'da asked me then I'd say, "She's not my type."
Oh, what an ugly sight she was. She picked her nose and navel fuzz.
C'est la vie. That's Life.
But she grew into a pretty woman. Like Nature said she had it comin'.
'Though you know I'm not a fool, you coulda fooled me.
Now, everyday when I get home my loneliness won't leave me alone.
It hangs on tight.
The sunset sorta stands so still yet my mem'ry at this moment will forget that night.
But lonely hearts will long remember our last goodbye so warm and tender.
And they say I'm not a fool. You coulda fooled me.
You coulda fooled me when I saw her back in grade school in the park.
She was such an eyesore. So you see there's gray in these hairs.
"But what about that night?" Uh-uh. Gotta run.
So how can I go on so long this way.
I know it must be very wrong to pray. What can this mean?
It seems I hear the sirens screaming out. "See there he is, so get him,"
There's no doubt they're on to me.
It makes no sense to run away now, 'cause I only live from day to day.
Today I thought I'd be so free. Ya coulda fooled me.
So maybe I should understand it -how Life could be so under-handed.
Maybe I'm no fool, but-- whew-- ya coulda fooled me
Cuz now I'm nobody's fool. Ya coulda fooled me.
