This is a Sam Cooke song, or at least written from his Good Times. I was in a band we called Rub Yer Soul, and this was written to rouse the crowd. It never got that far; we broke up soon after.
It is here redone with Band in a Box, Reaper and Cakewalk. I played bass and sang.
