This is an old Louis Jordan tune. One of those early rock-n-roll gems recorded in 1946. It was writen by Vaughn Horton, Denver Darling and Milt Gabler. I always loved the clever lyrics. It had the flavor of one of my favorite lyricists, Chuck Berry. Whenever Barb & I would hear it, we would always pretend it was 420, so I made sure it was in each of our playlists --sometimes more than once.
It is here redone with BiaB and Cakewalk. I did bass and vocal.
