Celtic Kiss
Once I was a lonely orphan living on my own.
Soon there came a fetching maiden to brighten up my home.
She came and brought her presence.
We sang our Celtic Song.
She came, and just as quickly she's gone.
I 'member once when she was sickly lying on our bed.
She raised her head and then she kissed me.
This is what she said:
"All my life I waited for someone just like you.
Our God will answer prayers. It's true."
I still hear her singing praises to our God above.
Somehow I still keep on breathing, living with her love.
Now I'm sad and lonely. I taste her on my lips,
And soon I will be with her for one more Celtic Kiss.
